Newark, NJ – Don Bosco closed out the 2018-19 regular season by taking on non-conference opponent St. Joe’s Metuchen at the Prudential Center in Newark.  The Ironmen offense came out strong, as Sophomore Connor Sedlak (8G, 5A) led the way with four points on the night, notching 2 goals and 2 assists.  Junior Robbie Greenleaf and Senior Captain Tyler Sedlak each contributed with 2 goals of their own, as Bosco continued its dominance over non-conference opponents, going 7-0 on the year. Bosco’s offense was dominant all game long, but it was their defense and strong goaltending from Max Schwarz and Kevin Rose, who combined for the shutout, turning aside 18 St. Joe’s shots.

With the regular season now finished, DBP will now turn their attention to the Gordon Conference playoffs.  Led by Senior Goaltender Max Schwarz (18-1, 1.44 GAA, 93.4 Sv%) as well as well as Senior Captains Liam McLinskey (22G, 34A), TJ Schweighardt (10G, 23A) and Tyler Sedlak (33G, 25A) the Ironmen will look to continue their torrid offense pace against St Peter’s Prep on Monday night in the Gordon Cup Quarterfinals at the Ice Vault.

The game will begin at 8:30 pm, but will be proceeded by the annual Senior Night festivities, starting at 8:15 pm.
