Brandon Vigorito ’09

Coach Vigorito is entering his ninth year as a member of the Don Bosco coaching staff and has been a part of four BCCA championship, two Gordon Cup Championships, two NJSIAA Non-Public state final appearances, the 2019 NJSIAA Non-Public State Championship and the 2021 Gordon Cup State Championship.
A graduate of the class of 2009, Brandon was a three year varsity letterman and recipient of the Coaches Spirit Award his senior season.
After playing at Don Bosco, he went on to play at Montclair State University, competing in two ACHA National Tournaments and has remained involved with the program since graduation, previously volunteering with the Junior Varsity teams.
Along with coaching, Brandon also has been an Ice Hockey official for the past 17 seasons. He has officiated for USA Hockey and has worked multiple Atlantic District Championships.  In addition to attending USA Hockey Regional and National Official Development Camps, Coach Vigorito is currently an NCAA official for Division 1 Men and Women and was selected to work the 2017 NCAA Division 1 Women’s tournament.

Andrew Steffey ’99

Coach Steffey is entering his 18th season as a coach for Don Bosco Prep and is also a former player and graduate of Don Bosco’s class of 1999.  He has coached at every level of the program since he began his tenure in 2007, spending the past 15 seasons as an Assistant Varsity Coach.  His JV teams saw a great deal of success winning two Ice Vault Holiday Tournaments and the Ice Vault JV League in 2010.

As an assistant with the Varsity team, Coach Steffey has been a part of 10 Bergen County Championships, three Gordon Cup Championships, five NJSIAA Non-Public state final appearances, the 2019 NJSIAA Non-Public State Championship and 2021 Gordon Cup State Championship

Along with Don Bosco, Coach Steffey has also coached in the Garden State Games and previously coached at the Midget 18U & 16U level with the New Jersey Bandits Organization.

Following graduation from Don Bosco, Coach Drew attended Penn State University.  He currently resides in Hudson County.
