Greg Toskos ’94
Coach Toskos (305-126-30) is in his 19th season as Head Coach. In that time, the Ironmen have won 10 Bergen County Championships, two TK Cups, two Ice Vault Holiday Cups, four Gordon Cups (2014, 2019, 2021, 2024) the 2019 NJSIAA Non-Public State Championship and the 2021 Gordon Cup State Championship. He has led the team to a #1 state ranking, ten top 5 state rankings, four Gordon Conference Regular Season Championships and six NJSIAA State Finals appearance, as well as the 2019 BCCA Ice Hockey Team of the Year. In addition to the team’s successes, Coach Toskos has been named the 2014 North Jersey Coach of the Year, 2019 Bergen County Coaches Association Coach of the Year, 2019 New Jersey State Coach of the Year and was recently inducted into the NJ High School Ice Hockey Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2024.
During his tenure as Head Coach, 17 Ironmen have gone on to play NCAA Division 1 college hockey and four players have continued their careers professionally.
Prior to taking over the Ironmen, Coach Toskos coached with the NJ Bandits Organization, the North Jersey Avalanche, Garden State Games and Chicago Showcase. Aside from DBP, Coach Toskos also coaches with the NJ Hitmen Organization (Pee Wee level).
As a player, Coach Toskos is the all-time leading scorer at Don Bosco Prep totaling 129 goals, 100 assists for 229 points. A three time team MVP, two time All League (93, 94), two time 1st team All North Jersey (93, 94) and a two year captain. He led the 1994 team to the school’s first ever NJSIAA State Finals appearance which earned him the 1994 New Jersey High School Player of the Year Award and was inducted into the Don Bosco Prep Hall of Fame in 2007.
Upon graduation from Don Bosco, Coach Toskos played a post graduate year at Canterbury Prep before heading to NCAA Division III powerhouse Babson College where he was a four year varsity letter winner.
Coach Toskos currently resides in Bergen County with his wife Chrissy and 3 children.
